Made from a steel base and then enameled to make a non-stick surface, this porcelain enamel bowl is deep and wide and perfect for family picnics and camping trips.

Enamelware is a mild steel base with a coating of "Porcelian Enamel" this coating protects the base from corrosion and make it resistant to organic solvents.  It has a high abrasion resistance and is not effected in any way by UV light.  It is resistant to thermal shock and can cope with temperatures up to 500oC.  

Please note that these vintage enamel bowls are not mass produced and will have variations in the finish (they are not perfect).
